We’re an eco-conscious swimwear brand based in England, and from the very beginning we made a quiet promise to ourselves: the oceans, lakes, and shorelines that inspire our swimwear are the same ones we want to protect. It would feel hollow to celebrate the water without caring for it.

Every piece begins with the question of what it’s made from. We choose our fabrics carefully, with the planet in mind, because the most beautiful swimwear in the world isn’t beautiful if it costs the earth to make.

Fast fashion thrives on pieces that fall apart, so you buy again and again. We reject that model entirely. Bessó swimwear is designed to be worn, loved, and worn again — season after season, body change after body change. Longevity is one of the most underrated forms of sustainability, and it’s one we take seriously.

From how our pieces are made to the choices behind the scenes, we try to tread gently. We don’t claim to be perfect — no brand honestly can — but we hold ourselves accountable to constant improvement. Every decision is a chance to do a little better by the planet.
Why it matters to us
